Kaydian Smoot
I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment and anger — whether that shows up as withdrawal, irritability, outbursts, or feeling overwhelmed.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like Sandtray Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, all within a person-centered framework. I believe in meeting you where you are and reminding you that healing is possible, even when it feels far away. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to start.
MSW, LICSW
Katrina Sickles-Jossey
MSW, LICSWI have experience working with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders, those living with chronic health conditions such as HIV, diabetes, chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage renal disease (ESRD), neurological disorders, and cancer, as well as those navigating life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, and providing support for organ donor families and organ transplant recipients.
My role is to walk alongside you, helping you build on your strengths while providing support through a trauma-informed, person-centered approach. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based practices to create a personalized approach that fits your unique needs and goals.
At this time I am only accepting clients 18 years of age and older. Whether you’re adjusting to a new chapter, coping with a chronic illness, or simply looking for a place to process life’s challenges, I’d be honored to support you as you move toward healing, growth, and lasting change. I strive to create a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the moment we begin working together.
